CASNET Completes Acquisition of NCD Corporation
CASNET, an Akron based Document Management Solution provider, has purchased NCD Corporation and it’s Electronic Worldwide Information Exchange (eWIX) scanning and retrieval product. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

In announcing the acquisition, Brad Bowers, CEO of CASNET stated "The Akron Community will immediately benefit from this transaction as we project to double our revenue and hire 25 to 50 staff members over the next two years."

The key of Technology that this acquisition brings CASNET is eWIX. eWIX is a web based software application that will allow CASNET to offer customers an affordable, secure document management solution without the capital expense of installing and maintaining an in-house document management system.

"This acquisition gives us the opportunity to bring new solutions to our existing customers," stated Mike Leeders, Vice President of Conversion and Data Services at CASNET, "and to expand our digital conversion capacity by 42%. Through this acquisition, we are able to not only grow throughout Ohio, but it allows CASNET to expand our service area throughout the Country, and immediately increase our staffing level."
